As Spring Break approaches, 33 students are gearing up for the 2020 “Gift to Guimaras” international mission trip to the island of Guimaras in the Philippines. Over the last few months, they have been meeting with project leaders Mr. Darlie and Mrs. Blanch Gagatam in the English room for prayer and information on how to pack, prepare materials, etc. They are very excited.
Eleven adults and family members will be joining the student for total group of forty-four. During the 19-day project, the mission group will be building a church, holding medical clinics, conducting an evangelistic series, and leading VBS for the children.
This is the third mission project Wisconsin Academy has organized in the Philippines – the 2016 trip to Marcillia on the island of Busuanga, and the 2018 trip to Bonongan on the island of Culion. Thank you for keeping these students and the mission project in your prayers.
