Last Sunday students under the leadership of service coordinator Enrique Serna joined local Columbus residents for their annual CROP Walk. CROP Hunger Walks are community-wide events sponsored by Church World Service and organized by local congregations or groups to raise funds to end hunger at home and around the world. We walked from Fireman’s Park to the Methodist Church, enjoying the brisk fall air and beautiful colors. This is just one way Wisconsin Academy is helping students discover the joy of service.
