Our Sabbath afternoon trip to Lion’s Den Gorge Nature Preserve near Port Washington on the shores of Lake Michigan was unaffected by light rain and cool temperatures. We enjoyed a short trek down the bluffs to the narrow beach where the waves crashed relentlessly on the shore. Some stacked rocks, dug caves in the clay bluff, or skipped stones, while others dodged waves, often unsuccessfully. As dusk came, we ate supper at a park. Enjoy the pictures!
