One Thursday morning instead of regular morning worship, the ladies of the women’s dorm gathered with Dean Wamack in the lobby to create cards. First, each student picked a name from the list of WA Church members. Next, they prepared cards. The cards included a favorite Bible verse. After writing the name and address on the envelope, each student prayed over their card, asking God’s blessing for the recipient.
While we will never know all the results of the cards until we reach heaven, one recipient sent a short message in reply: “I received 3 cards from girls in the dorm – just when I needed some encouragement. Thank you so much! Stay safe. God bless.”
