A few Sundays ago, our student body spent part of the afternoon picking up trash along roadsides near campus. As part of Wisconsin’s Adopt-a-Highway program, the Student Association has volunteered to clean up the 1.6-mile section of Highway 16 from Johnson Road to the 151 bypass. Students worked in groups led by staff members and wore high visibility safety vests. The pictures in this post are from the group I participated with.
