Eight students who are a part of the WAY (Wisconsin Academy Youth) Team, spent Sabbath sharing and enjoying fellowship with our friends at Madison East SDA Church. Two students told the children’s story and three share shore sermonettes on the meaning of Christian service. The first explained the meaning of true service. The second emphasized that true service comes from a real relationship with God. The third reminded us that even small acts of service can make a big difference in someone’s life. The church members were very warm and welcoming and we had a beautiful worship time together.
WAY Teams exist to give students experience in sharing the love of Jesus in churches across Wisconsin. This is one way Wisconsin Academy is training students to be “Fit to Serve.”
