On Sabbath afternoon, September 14, we visited Horicon Marsh, the largest freshwater cattail marsh in the United States and nesting site for tens of thousands of migrating birds. After a nice walk along the shores of the marsh, we enjoyed a delicious picnic provided by the cafeteria staff and a special Hallowed Moments time as the sun sank low over the horizon, ending the Sabbath. We are so blessed to have so much many place to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation nearby. Thanks, Darlie Gagatam, for the pictures.
