We were blessed to enjoy a really wonderful outdoor Sabbath experience at Big Hill Park in Beloit this past weekend. On a wide grassy lawn surrounded by towering trees, we had church, led by Mr. Doug Show. He preached on the story of Elijah, and its relevance for today’s end-time people. After church and a sack lunch, we hiked through the forest and down by the Rock River, ending up at an old amphitheater for Sabbath School. Since this was the first Sabbath School of the year, student groups spent time deciding what to study and how to organize. After a picnic supper, Pastor Jonathan Fetrick closed the Sabbath with a meditation on friendship with Jesus. Hope you had a wonderful Sabbath too!
