Last Sabbath, students in our select vocal group, the Choralaires, and our handbell choir, Belissimi Cerchi, shared worship in music at the Gurnee SDA Church in the morning, and the Northbrook SDA Church in the afternoon. Under the direction of Mr. Bruce Rasmussen, the Choralaires sang a number of songs, including “Keep the Sabbath Day,” “For the Beauty of the Earth,” “Here I Am, Lord,” and “God is Our Refuge and Strength.” The bell choir, under the direction of Mrs. Rosalie Rasmussen, played “Amazing Grace,” “Just As I Am,” “Near to the Heart of God,” and several others. We are so thankful to both the Gurnee SDA Church, not only for hosting us, but also for providing a delicious lunch and supper for all the students. If you were unable to attend in Gurnee or Northbrook, we iinvite you to worship with us during one of the upcoming music tours we have planned.
