Instead of our traditional Fall Fest this year, we took a field trip to a corn maze. The Treinen Farm Corn Maze near Lodi was listed by USA Today as one of the ten best in the country. This year’s design, entitled “The Schrödinger’s Cat and Other Thought Experiments Maze” was both challenging and fun. Faculty family groups navigated the corn corridors as quickly as possible with the help of printed maps. After completing the maze, students played gaga ball, outdoor checkers, and a variety of other farm-themed activities. After returning to campus, we played a students vs. staff football game. Thank you to everyone who helped organize this fun fall outing.
