If you missed Senior Dedication this weekend, you missed out.
Lamont Taylor, parent of one of the seniors, gave an inspiring vespers talk about letting God help put the pieces of our lives together. On Sabbath, the seniors organized and led a beautiful Sabbath School and church service. Sabbath School included a beautiful praise service, a “Name that Famous Adventist” quiz, and group studies of the Sabbath School lesson, led by seniors. Elder Mike Edge spoke for church, emphasizing the need to stand for principle, not preference, as Daniel did.
After sundown, families and friends enjoyed a fundraiser meal in the cafeteria while enjoying several rounds of a WA version of “Family Feud.” The funds raised will support the seniors’ mission project this spring.
