In Bible III, we’ve been studying about the Sanctuary and its services. Last week, Pastor Fetrick generously volunteered to bring his sheep to class, and so on Thursday we were treated have two of his lambs join us. While the students petted the lambs and fed them leaves and grass, Pastor Fetrick and his children answered questions and shared interesting facts about sheep. He explained how to sheer sheep, milk sheep, and how sheep in ancient Israel differed from most sheep we see today. He also discussed how sheep were selected for sacrifice and the reasons Jesus chose sheep to represent both Himself and His people. “It was really fun,” said one student. “I had never actually touched a lamb before.”
