The second day of orientation was just as fun as the first day, and we learned a lot, too. Pastor Fetrick led song service and worship. Ms. Leny helped us understand how the cafeteria works. Mr. Parish shared about the Lighthouse thrift store and distributed $5 gift cards to every student. In the gym each class played a game that involved learning names. This ended with a large circle name game around the flag pole. Back in the chapel, the Student Association put on a skit to help us understand classroom behavior, and several staff members shared about joining clubs. After lunch, our final orientation meeting involved staff sharing what the students can expect from us. The afternoon finished with a splash – the soap slide! The weather was perfect for a soapy slip-n-slide down the hill below the ad building. Enjoy the pictures!
