Last Thursday, Wisconsin Academy’s student council held their second meeting in the gym lobby. The student council consists of the Student Association president and a male and female representative from each class. They hear ideas from representatives and make proposals which are discussed at staff meetings. In addition to discussion of proposals, a portion of the first two student council meetings have included orientation for all representatives because student council has not functioned for many years. The student council president remarked, “I’m really glad it got started again, and I hope it continues.” Dan Show and Heidi Rasmussen serve as sponsors.
