This past weekend, the class of 2019 took some time away to chart a course for the coming year and strengthen friendships during their traditional “Senior Experience.” Seventeen seniors and three sponsors camped at High Cliff State Park on the shores of Lake Winnebago. They slept in tents and cooked some of their food over an open fire. Friday afternoon was mostly filled with travel and setup. Sabbath morning, our class president led us in worship on a knoll overlooking the lake. He spoke about learning to trust God and each other. A series of trust building activities followed that dovetailed with the message. After lunch, we hiked among the cliffs and along the lake shore, enjoying the remarkable scenery. After supper and Hallowed Moments as the sun went down, the seniors spent Saturday night planning for coming events, including Senior Dedication weekend and Class Trip. On Sunday we packed up, enjoyed climbing the rocks and a lookout tower, and held another meeting to elect officers and choose class colors. We stopped by Culver’s on the way home to use the tokens won at SA Fall Picnic. It was a great weekend all around. Enjoy the pictures!
