This Friday evening, local members of the Wisconsin Academy church and academy staff and students spent the evening together enjoying fellowship, eating a light meal, and celebrating communion. Students and church members sat together at round tables surrounding a central cross-shaped table. Students led singing and Pastor Fetrick and the church elders led the service. Three students also gave meditations on the importance of footwashing, the bread, and the grape juice. Many of the students participated in the foot-washing and the Lord’s supper. For some it was the first time to fully participate. It was truly a blessing to celebrate together and remember what our Savior did for us.
