Preparation Continues for Philippines Mission Project

Spring Break is on the horizon, and with it, the 2017 mission project to the Philippines.

In the community of Bonongan, two Bible workers (pictured above) are already holding Bible studies and helping the local congregation be ready for the evangelistic meetings during our time there. The ground has been cleared and leveled for the church structure we will be building (see first picture below). There is great expectation as the pastor and local believers pray for the Holy Spirit to work in a special way this coming March.

Preparations are underway here in Wisconsin as well. Air tickets have been purchased, passports are being worked out, and many other behind-the-scenes details are being taken care of that few will ever see. Students and staff continue in hope and excitement, praying every day that God will pour out his Spirit in our lives and in the lives of the people in Bonongan.

During our two weeks in the community of Bonongan on the island of Culion, we will build a church, conduct a medical clinic, hold evangelistic meetings, and work with the children.

Our largest financial need is for funds to construct the church. If you would like to support this project financially, there are several ways to help:

1. ONLINE: Give through the “Philippines Mission Project” GoFundMe account here. Share the link on Facebook with your friends and family.

2. MAIL: Please make checks payable to Wisconsin Academy, and write International Mission Project (IMP) on the memo line. Mail your tax-deductible gift to:
